Cover Anything

I placed an order for a car cover for a 1986 Corvette for $89.50 September 10, 2023 6:06:19 PM. This was a Sunday.

Their website states the item will ship the next day. It should have shipped no later than Tuesday.

Wednesday Sep 13, 2023 I send the following email..When is order 20021**** set to ship? It is in stock, correct?

The reply I get from Beth is..Good morning,

Your order has shipped and we are waiting on tracking information to come in from our warehouse. As soon as we have your tracking number we will update you via email.

Thursday Sep 14, 2023 I send the following email..Your website shows it is still being prepared and not yet shipped.

Are you not telling me the truth here?

The reply I get from Beth is..Yes, the website will not update until our office has the tracking number in hand. We have to manually update each order with its tracking number once we get it from our warehouse.

On the same day, Thursday, I call and am connected to the same person I have been corresponding with on email, Beth. I explain that all I am requestinfg is a way of tracking my order so that I have proof the item has shipped. She tells me the same crap about how she has no direct way of contacting the warehouse and that it is up to them to send that confirmation.

I ask her how she knows that the item has shipped and she cant really give me an answer to that question. UI tell her I want to cancel the order if she can not provide proof that the item has shipped and she says she cant do that, I will have to wait until I receive the item and then return it.

She goes on to tell me that they have been having trouble with this new company they are working with and that maybe my item is the one that did not get shipped.

Then she tells me that the latest I should get the item will be Monday, but that I could get it Friday or maybe Saturday.

I tell her that if I dont get the item by Monday I will be calling back for a full refund.

I will NEVER buy from this outfit ever again and would advise anyone to stay away from these people. Lies and more lies.

In March 2021, I purchased one of their Shorefit covers for a boat with a supposed 12 year warranty. The cover didn't even last a year and half before it was dry rotted and ripping.

The tear is at the top of the windshield. They asked for pictures of the cover installed and the tear, to which I sent them.

This was their response "The damage in the photos you provided are consistent with water damage, not a manufacturing defect. The warranty is effective from the date of the initial purchase and only one warranty claim may be submitted per original purchase. We take great pride in our covers and 99% of them withstand years of outdoor use with no issues.

As such, your claim has been denied and we consider this case closed.

Really?? Water damage at the top of the windshield where water doesn't collect?

Don't waste your money with this company, their warranty means nothing!!

I received the outdoor car cover for my Mustang in a decent time frame. At $139 It was priced in the low to mid range.

It was not deep enough in the front or rear to fit the car. I called and they said they didn't have a replacement that fit better. I bought another elsewhere which fit perfectly. I returned it promptly.

They only refunded half the purchase price, saying that it was dirty and had *** in it... no discussion, no debate leaving me to take up the dispute with Visa. Their design requires that you cut *** in it for the antennae, and "band aid" it with a cheesy self stick patch. There is no way to check the fit without cutting the hole.

Despite the assurances that their products are made for a specific car.... they aren't.
